Control Where Incoming Calls are Sent with Caller ID Forwarding

You select how you want to view your incoming calls so you can make a decision on how to handle them one by one.

When calls made to your Virtual Number are forwarded, there are three options for the Caller ID shown.

Most commonly known as Caller ID allows you to know the call is through your Virtual Number before you answer, so you can decline the call and send it to Voicemail, or answer, based on your situation.

This will show you who is calling, but will not indicate that the call is through your Virtual Number. You can use our Call Announce Feature to learn that the call is through your Virtual Number after you answer.

This prevents any phone number from showing up on your forwarding phone´s itemized bill, maintaining the privacy of the callers. Reporters might use this feature to protect sources.
